DIL/NetPC DNP/1110: 64-pin DIL Connector Pinout

The mechanical interface between the DIL/NetPC DNP/1110 and existing devices and equipment is a JEDEC 64-pin DIL connector with 2.54mm centers. This allows the direct integration to a standard 64-pin DIL socket. The 64 pins in total are used for 3.3 volt power supply (2 pins), Reset in and out (2 pins), two serial interfaces (10 pins), 10BASE-T and 100-BASE-TX Ethernet interface (4 pins), general purpose parallel I/O (20 pins) and the I/O extension bus (26 pins).

Please Note: Some pins are called "Product Specific Pins (PSP)". Future versions of the DIL/NetPC will differ only with this pins from the DNP/1110. All other pins will have the same functions.

The PIO Port C pins PC0 to PC3 can be used with the SA-1100 Serial Channel 4 / CODEC. The table shows the alternate pin assignment for these function. The SA-1110 Serial Channel 4 contains two separate full-duplex synchronous serial interfaces with two different modes (MCP and SSP). In MCP (Multimedia Communication Port) mode this serial interface can be used to interface external CODEC chips (i.e. Philips UCB1x00). In SSP (Synchronous Serial Port) mode these pins supports the National Semiconductor Microwire and Texas Instruments synchronous serial protocols as well as a subset of the Motorola serial peripheral interface (SPI) protocol.
